Chen Dance Center, 70 Mulberry Street, presents the next edition of “newsteps: a choreographer’s series,” its semi-annual emerging choreographer’s series which, since 1994, has presented hundreds of young dancers and dancemakers. Chosen through public audition, each choreographer receives a stipend, free rehearsal space, and three public performances at the intimate Chen Dance Center theater.
