The pair met while organizing against the Vietnam War and participated in the gay liberation movement following the Stonewall uprising. Please join us for a conversation about this pivotal moment in history, as we celebrate their lives and scholarship.
Blanche Wiesen Cook is a Distinguished Professor of History and Women’s Studies at John Jay College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
Clare Coss is an award-winning playwright, poet, and the librettist for the forthcoming opera Emmett Till.
