National Book Award-winning novelist Colum McCann reads from his bestselling TransAtlantic, in which three iconic crossings are connected by a series of remarkable women whose personal stories are caught up in the swells of history.

As an internationally recognized bestselling author, Colum McCann’s fiction has been published in thirty-five different languages around the globe. His other works include the widely-celebrated Let the Great World Spin, ZoliDancerThis Side of BrightnessSongdogs, and the 2005 Oscar nominated short film Everything in This Country Must. McCann has received many honors including the National Book Award, the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, and a Chevalier des Arts et Lettres from the French government. TransAtlantic has been longlisted for the Booker Prize.
