Welcome to the Edward I. Altman Lecture Series in Financial Economics! Join us for an exciting event at The City College of New York in Shepard Hall 107 (SH-107) on Wednesday April 23rd 3.30pm-4.45pm. Guest speaker Brian Ruane’s talk is entitled ” Changing Market Structure, Equities, Fixed Income & Real time Payments.”

Brian Ruane is BNY Global Head of Clearance and Collateral Management, and a member of BNY’s Executive Committee. Brian was a key voice on the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Triparty Repo Infrastructure Reform Task Force, which drove systemic changes to ensure that the triparty repo market functions effectively and efficiently. He also served on the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Working Committee on The Future of the US Government Securities Markets. Prior to his current role, Brian led Global Client Management, Alternative Investment Services and Prime Services.

Brian is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of Hofstra University’s Zarb School of Business and the Board of The Irish American Partnership. Reserve your spot today!
