Elsewhere: An Evening of Escape, an Architecture Talk

An evening of performances, architecture talks and reflections to celebrate the launch of Elsewhere: Escape and the Urban Landscape. The evening will feature Richard Sennett of the London School of Economics and New York University; Keller Easterling of Yale University; singer, musician, and artist Joseph Keckler; Ron Shiffman of Pratt’s Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment; and Maria Chavez. Refreshments follow.

NOTE: This event will take place at ISSUE Project Room, 22 Boerum Place in Brooklyn.

This is part of Elsewhere: Escape and the Urban Landscape, a multi-year inquiry that will explore how the urban environment influences our need for escape. The new initiative kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 12 with a festival-style week of public programs throughout New York City.
