Fini Dance Festival

Antonio Fini, native of Calabria, announces the 14th Festival, Aug. 31 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 W. 55 St., NYC.  The charming Tabata Caldironi of Milan will once again host the gala event, which features companies and artists from Italy and the U.S.   From Italy are: Davide Accossato (Turin Tap Festival); Sofia Berto & Nikita Perotti (Italy’s Dancing with the Stars); Sergio & Lorenzo Migliorati (B-boys from Perugia); and Sara Paterniani, soloist from the beach resort town of Fano.  Guests from NYC: Fini Dance Company; Jennifer Muller/The Works; Jillian Pizzi (Staten Island Ballet); and Ballet Eloelle Grandiva, the comedy all-male company.   There will also be awards given to Ornelia Fado, Javier Dzul, and Francesco Messina, apprentice with the Washington Ballet.
