The Fortune Society Invites New Yorkers to a Day of Free Family Fun at the First Annual Victor Rojas Block Party
You are invited to join in a day of free family fun at the first annual Victor Rojas Block Party organized by The Fortune Society, one of the nation’s most respected nonprofit organizations serving and advocating for people with criminal justice involvement.
On Friday, August 24th from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., West 140th Street – between Riverside Drive and Broadway – will become a block filled with fun and games, Double Dutch jump rope, a dance competition, food, music and a DJ, face-painting, prizes and other surprises.
Staffed by Fortune clients and employees, the event celebrates Fortune’s important role in the Harlem community. It also honors the memory and legacy of beloved Fortune employee Victor Rojas who died too soon.
A mobile health van will also be on site.
