About the Authors
Lee Matthew Goldberg’s debut novel SLOW DOWN (New Pulp Press) is a neo-noir thriller. His novel THE MENTOR is forthcoming from Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin’s Press in June 2017 and has been acquired by Macmillan Entertainment. The French edition will be published by Editions Hugo. His pilot JOIN US was a finalist in Script Pipeline’s 2015 TV Writing Competition. After graduating with an MFA from the New School, his fiction has also appeared in The Montreal Review, The Adirondack Review, Essays & Fictions, The New Plains Review, Orion headless, Verdad Magazine, BlazeVOX, and others. Alex Smith is the author of the novella HIVE, published by Muzzleland Press, and BLOWN, a series of poems published by Superchief Press. His stories and poems have appeared in Theaker’s Quarterly Fiction, Black Ink Horror, Octopus Magazine, Sink Review andCatch-Up Louisville. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland.
Julia Dahl is a journalist specializing in crime and justice. Her first novel, INVISIBLE CITY, was a finalist for the Edgar Award and was named one of the Boston Globe’s Best Books of 2014. She is also the author of RUN YOU DOWN and most recently, CONVICTION. Julia lives in Brooklyn and writes for CBSNews.com.
