Historical Walk: Jane’s River Sisters

Jane Jacobs may have never set foot in the South Bronx, but there are many examples of how community activism has revitalized local neighborhoods.

Join our volunteer historians as we colloborate with Celebrating the City: Jane Jacobs at 100 Years www.jj100.org and lead a walk in the spirit of Jane Jacobs through Concrete Plant Park to Hunts Point Riverside Park where Bronx activist once fought against auto-oriented plans and led a movement toward increasingly livable communities.

The walk will end at Hunts Point Riverside Park at the Flotilla Festival.
