HUMANMAKES: The Imperial Artisans of Modern China
Established in Beijing as a private family archive, Recharge Foundation launches HUMANMAKES program in New York with its inaugural exhibition, HUMANMAKES: The Imperial Artisans of Modern China. It showcases contemporary interpretations of Chinese artisanal styles by 4 artisan practitioners of ancient techniques in Chinese fine arts, design, and jewelry.
Partnering with New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), the Recharge Foundation will host an artisan dialogue on May 3 from 3–5pm, featuring conversations with artisans in the exhibition.
