Is Medical Marijuana Right for You?

Dr. Bernie Lee, Vice President of Medical Affairs for MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care, New York State’s largest palliative care agency, will give a lecture on the “Uses & Indications for Medical Cannabis in New York State” at The New Jewish Home’s Westchester Campus in Mamaroneck, New York.

As an advocate of medical marijuana, Dr. Lee is leading the charge to educate physicians and patients on its safe and effective use to help alleviate the suffering of those with chronic and terminal illness.

Co-sponsored by The New Jewish Home and Scarsdale Integrative Medicine, the event is for both physicians and others who are interested in gaining a better understanding of the basic principles of medical marijuana. Dr. Lee will explore which patients qualify for the New York State Medical Marijuana Program (MMP) and how to recommend medical cannabis for certain medical conditions.

The New Jewish Home is offering one CEU credit to individual medical doctors, social workers and registered nurses who attend this event.
