Jewfest – Helene Aylon

Helene Aylon, is an eco-feminist artist whose work has been exhibited around the world, including the Whitney Museum, the Aldrich Museum in Connecticut, the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, and the Ein Harod Museum in Israel. Her memoir, Whatever is Contained Must Be Released: My Jewish Orthodox Girlhood, My Life as a Feminist Artist, just out by the Feminist Press, includes captivating images of Aylon’s visionary work, which will be screened at the Reading.

Helène Aylon will be introduced by Gloria Jacobs, director of the Feminist Press.
