Josh Cohen with Jared Diamond

Digital dystopia meets everyday humiliation in Josh Cohen’s quartet of short stories, Four New Messages, a Borgesian collection of tales that mash together Internet porn, the frustrations of a pharmaceutical copywriter, the exposed genitals of a Princeton drug dealer, and a curious writing professor who will not read his students’ stories.

Cohen, whose second novel Witz earned him comparisons to Thomas Pynchon, David Foster Wallace, James Joyce and Jonathan Swift, will be joined by Jason Diamond, the founder of Vol. 1 Brooklyn, New York Deputy Editor of Flavorpill, and former editor of Jewcy.com. Diamond’s writing has appeared in the New York Times, The Paris Review, Vice, The Awl, and others.
