LEIMAY Works: Arts in the Gardens | “Thresholds II” and “In Illo Tempore Vignettes”
LEIMAY has once again been invited to be part of Art in the Gardens, organized by New York Restoration Project (NYRP) and Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). LEIMAY brings works—an installation and two site-specific performance pieces—to the Gil Hodges Community Garden (534 Carroll Street) in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Join us and see how we bring LEIMAY works to a unique environment.
A highlight of last year’s season, LEIMAY brings you two performance pieces in this year’s “Art in the Gardens.” Using dance, theater, music, and light at sunset, LEIMAY explores the fragility and resilience of life through a dance of rising and falling in “Thresholds II”. In “In Illo Tempore Vignettes” characters are captured suspended in time to reveal what it seems to be eternity or what might be considered as eternity.
