Choreographer Miro Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet in the opening performance of their 2023-24 season, Sept. 22&23.   The program will feature four one-act ballets by Magloire, set to music by Maurice Ravel, Pierre Boulez, and contemporary composer Beat Furrer and Wong Foo Jeng.  “…Magloire has made a name for himself by creating sophisticated evenings of dance that use contemporary music in intriguing ways” (The New Yorker).   As always, music is played live by violinist Doori Na and pianist Melody Fader, accompanying the 6-member all-female ensemble of dancers.  At the Mark Morris Dance Center, 3 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn.
