At the Open Center, Alessandra Belloni, joined by master bansuri flautist Steve Gorn and ensemble of musicians and dancers, will take audiences back in time for a celebration of the summer solstice and a program of healing chants, dances and drumming that honors the Black Madonna. Belloni is a recognized singer/percussionist and authority on ancient Southern Italian music, theater and traditions.
