Nuyorican Poets Café Presents “Love Songs” Poetry Night x Late Night ICP

During this night of live poetry readings and performances, the Nuyorican Poets Café, a cultural icon on New York’s Lower East Side since 1973, takes over Late Night ICP for an evening celebrating their poets and words inspired by ICP’s current exhibition, Love Songs: Photography and Intimacy. Following the in-gallery program will be a “Poems of Love” Open Mic.

Open Mic
The open mic portion of the evening is available for attendees. There will be a sign-up sheet at check-in and slots are available on a first come, first serve basis. Each performer is allotted 3 minutes and all poems/pieces must be on the theme “Love & Intimacy.”
