This deeply personal and thoroughly researched book takes a hard look at how outdated definitions of masculinity have given rise to male resentment and entitlement. Sexton exposes the true cost men themselves suffer from this toxic mix: increased rates of depression, shorter lives, misogyny, and, ultimately, suicide.
