Oculus Book Talk: “Where Are the Women Architects?”

Join us at the Center for a discussion with Despina Stratigakos about her book, Where Are the Women Architects? Following her presentation, Despina will talk with Lori Brown and Joan Blumenfeld about the themes of the book.

In recent decades, the number of women in architecture school has risen dramatically. Yet, the number of practicing women architects remains low. Where Are the Women Architects? explores how a new generation of activists is fighting back, grabbing headlines, and building coalitions to bring about change while examining the past, current, and potential future roles of women in the profession. Where are the Woman Architects? is the inaugural title in the Places Book Series, a collaboration between Places Journal and Princeton University Press.
