Picnic Pops Summer Concert Series Returns to Old Westbury Gardens
The Emmy award winning band Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks will return to Old Westbury Gardens for an evening of 1920s and 30s jazz and popular dance music on Wednesday, August 1 as part Old Westbury Gardens’ original concert series Picnic Pops.
In 30 years as a bandleader, Vince Giordano has become the authority on recreating the sounds of 1920s and ’30s jazz and popular music. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and a couple of friends, and we’ll provide the soundtrack for an enjoyable evening under the stars.
Old Westbury Gardens has a legacy of being one of the top destinations on Long Island for summer concerts. Picnic Pops summer concert series, will run every Wednesday from July 11th through August 1st. All concerts will begin at 7:00 p.m., but guests are invited to arrive early to stroll the gardens on a beautiful summer evening or take part in some pre-concert dance lessons.

COST: There is a $12.00 General Admission fee; $10.00 – 62 and older; $10.00 – members; and free for children 17 and under (must be accompanied by and adult).
A Picnic Pops Car Pass costs $75.00 and gives guests admission to all concerts for as many people as you can fit in your car, and choice parking. The Picnic Pops Pass can be purchased online.
