In celebration of Women’s History Month, People Magazine and Sony Pictures Television—in partnership with the New-York Historical Society’s Center for Women’s History—invite you to a premiere event for Timeless’s return to NBC on Sunday, March 11. The first initiative of its kind in the nation dedicated to spotlighting women’s central role in shaping the United States, New-York Historical’s Center for Women’s History provides the perfect venue to highlight important and powerful women throughout history as well as showcase the women of Timeless, both in-front of the camera and behind the scenes, who journey to bygone eras each week to educate and empower audiences.
Join us for an exclusive look at the Timeless premiere episode “The War to End All Wars,” which centers on the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, Marie Curie. After the screening, People Magazine Editor in Chief Jess Cagle will moderate a Q&A with Timeless star Abigail Spencer, co-showrunner Arika Lisanne Mittman, executive producer Marney Hochman, costume designer Mari-An Ceo, and Vice President, Chief Historian, and Director of the Center for Women’s History Valerie Paley to discuss the importance of highlighting women in history, the impact they have on today’s culture, and how these trailblazers are illustrated in Timeless.
RSVP is strongly recommended as seating is limited. Those without an RSVP cannot be guaranteed a seat. RSVP to [email protected].
