Persuasive Authority is a new Continuing Legal Education series from lawyer and comedian Charles Star that you’ll listen to for more than just the security code. The first lecture, Bonfire of the Agencies, is a history of the Supreme Court’s evolving rules on judicial deference to administrative agencies from the New Deal through Chevron to the probably-depressing future of today’s conservative court. But it’s more interesting than that makes it sound.
