Since its premiere in 1984, Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch has made BAM its exclusive New York home. This Iconic Artist Talk introduces New York audiences to the work of the Pina Bausch Foundation and its archive project. Members of Tanztheater Wuppertal and the Pina Bausch Foundation discuss the challenge of using archival materials to reconstruct performances and give new life to Bausch’s oeuvre after her passing in 2009.
