Through the years, Rapport has offered the opportunity to learn about sensuality and connection in a safe, fun, and social dance environment. Perfect for new dancers and people looking to meet new people in a new, exciting way.
This special workshop is great for introverted or shy personality types. Rapport staff will assist all workshop attendees with introductions to the post-launch party attendees. All workshop participants will be considered VIP guests if they plan to attend the party as well.
Due to the exclusive nature of this venue, advanced tickets ONLY. $97. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
Workshop Description
Led by Briana Jones (Kizomba) and Daniel O’Connell Triolo (Tango)
This workshop is designed to explore the depths of connection, confidence and comfort in partner dance and beyond.
We will explore three levels of connection. Connection with the Self, the Partner, and the Moment/Music. We will use the traditions/music of tango, kizomba, and bachata to lead us through these 3 levels of connection.
We then take the embrace to an art deepening the understanding of being powerful and vulnerable and learning to put out positive energy with a partner.
Finally we will touch upon the concept of “flow” so we can get out of our heads and into the present moment. We will help you leave with the increased ability to improvise and feel at ease connecting on a deep level with any partner to any music.
Rapport staff members will be available to assist and help if needed. The staff at the Norwood will make sure drinks/small bites are available.
