Gil Cole came to New York a long time ago to go to The Juilliard School where he studied acting, and performed classic and contemporary plays on Broadway, off-Broadway and in regional theater. Now a psychoanalyst, a teacher, and writer, his debut novel, Fortune’s Bastard or Love’s Pains Recounted, inspired by Shakespeare, is a swashbuckling adventure of lust, learning, and love.
Annie Lanzillotto is the author of a book of poetry and is a singer/songwriter. Her book, L Is for Lion: An Italian Bronx Butch Freedom Memoir, is the story of a 1960's tomboy who learns to survive her brutal but humorous family and all life throws at her.
Charlie Vasquez is a Bronx-born writer of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent. He is the author of a bilingual poetry collection and has co-edited two anthologies of Latino literature. He’ll be reading from Hustler Rave XXX, a collection of poetry that examines closely, at times with disturbing detail, the lives of the boys and young men of the night.
