Second Annual House of SpeakEasy Foundation Gala 2015

House of SpeakEasy Foundation’s 2nd Annual Gala, sponsored by two of John Dewar and Son’s “Last Great Malts”— Aberfeldy® and Craigellachie®—is a star-studded, red-carpet charitable event that will raise money for SpeakEasy’s mission: supporting writers, building new literary audiences, and connecting the two in entertaining and sustaining ways. The evening is hosted by historian Amanda Foreman (Duchess of Devonshire, A World on Fire and the upcoming host of the BBC documentary series, A World Made By Women) and Lucas Wittman (Executive Editor/Associate Publisher of Regan Arts). The evening will feature a cocktail reception hosted by Aberfeldy and Cragellachie Single Malt Whiskies, a seated dinner with a literary cabaret including leading lights from the world of letters, stage, and screen: Jim Dale, Simon Doonan, Susan Fales-Hill, Michael Friedman, Stephen Lang, P.J. O’Rourke and R.L. Stine.
