At Passover we tell the story of the Israelites going out of Egypt. At Thanksgiving we tell…nothing. Randy Cohen, original author of the New York Times’ “The Ethicist” column and host of our popular Person Place Thing series, devised a new Thanksgiving-one in which we’ll gather to tell the story of people from around the world coming into America, based on the Passover seder but accessible to all. Join us for a staged reading and group conversation.
Readers include: Anna Holmes, Debbi Almontaser, Jack Tchen, Kurt Flehinger, Lawrence Oh, Mandë Holford, Randy Cohen, and Ruth Messinger.
