Sichan Siv: Escape From Cambodia to UN Ambassador

Please join us in welcoming former UN ambassador Sichan Siv as he discusses his memoir “Golden Bones.”  His story is one of hope and the American Dream. Siv recounts his harrowing escape from Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge in the 1970s. When he fled to America he made his life in politics beginning as deputy assistant to George H.W. Bush and later being appointed as UN ambassador by George W. Bush.
