Dr. Hopkins is Assistant Professor at the Richard Gilder Graduate School at the American Museum of Natural History, where she is Assistant Curator of Invertebrate Paleontology. Her research focuses on the study of morphological evolution in the fossil record—in other words, in understanding long-term patterns of evolutionary change and the processes underlying them.
