The Aesthetic Realism Teaching Method Meets the Hopes of Students Now!

Thursday, Nov. 7th, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, there will be a seminar that has answers parents, administrators, and teachers are desperate for—The Aesthetic Realism Teaching Method Meets the Hopes of Students Now!  Teachers of math, history, and science, from elementary through high school, will present classroom lessons showing the powerful—and really beautiful—success of this time-tested method.

The Aesthetic Realism Teaching Method reaches even the most disheartened students, enabling them to see meaning in their subjects and to learn with genuine interest.  The basis is this principle stated by Eli Siegel, founder of Aesthetic Realism: “The world, art, and self explain each other: each is the aesthetic oneness of opposites.”  As students see, through the subjects they study, that the world itself is made in a way that makes sense and has honest beauty in it, their anger and cynicism change—not only do they learn successfully, but they become kinder.   Students of diverse ethnic backgrounds come to respect and truly care for each other.  This method is what American education needs now!

The event will take place at the Aesthetic Realism Foundation, a not-for-profit educational foundation, 141 Greene Street, off West Houston Street, in SoHo, NYC.  For information, you can call 212.777.4490 and visit www.AestheticRealism.org .  There is a suggested contribution of $10 for the event.
