The Art and Science of Well-Being Section 4: Unlocking the Joy of Leadership (Online)

The “grow the whole person to grow the whole leader” approach to transformative leadership created by author and leadership trainer Kevin Cashman explores both the importance of and challenges of bringing one’s whole-self to work. Central to his thinking is the cultivation of “authenticity” in leadership and the courage that doing this takes. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss components of whole being leadership and how we can use these ideas to shape how we lead in the different areas of our lives. Along with Cashman’s book Leadership from the Inside Out, we will be informed by the work of Harvard’s Tal Ben-Shahar, Ph.D. (The Joy of Leadership), and the four-quadrant leadership model created by Megan McDonough, co-founder with Ben-Shahar of the Whole Being Institute.
