The Art of Kink: Women of Power

Hit Me Up presents the kinky side of art history as it collides with the artistic side of kink, in an evening that will stimulate your intellect and your appetites.

The evening begins with a lecture by kinky art historian Dr. B, accompanied by small demonstrations by our crew of kinky performers. Our topic is Femdom—BDSM practiced by female-identified dominants. Dr. B. will walk us through a rich history of artistic representations of powerful and sexual women, as well as the history of artists who were inspired by dominant female partners.

After the intermission, we’ll open up the dance floor and our staff of experienced kinsters will offer both demonstrations and immersive opportunities for audience members to experiment with ropes, wax, impact, and more. If you’ve ever wanted to try a little bit of kink in a safe and supportive environment, this is your opportunity. Perhaps bring a partner and take the opportunity to explore new possible facets of your relationship. While the lecture covers female domination, tops and bottoms of all gender identifications are welcome. Participation is of course entirely optional, consent is paramount, and respectful voyeurism is strongly encouraged.
