The Concept of Self—Workshop in Soho

Location:

Moonzescope
137 Grand Street #3rd floor New York, NY 10013

Event:

As thinking beings, we often cling strongly to a self-created concept of ‘who we are’, existing in our internal world more than our actual reality. By understanding the conceptual nature of thought, we can see its influence on the way we think of ourselves, of others, and even the world.

Combining ideas from Psychology, Neuroscience, & Eastern Philosophy we will approach both the scientific and spiritual aspects of ‘Self Experience’ as a Holistic phenomenon that elucidates the formation of our perspective, our outlook on the world, and even our personal identity.

We are proud to introduce the first of six workshops in our Mindset and Mindfulness Series with Professor Daniel Martin Rynerson! Professor Rynerson is the founder of SelfPerpetual.com, currently teaching Psychology at Montclair State University, and appearing as a regular speaker at Lectures on Tap.
