Students will bring in their favorite lines from Walt Whitman’s works, and the class will make a collaborative poster using Linocut and other printing techniques. The class will explore The Center’s extensive type collection and learn about the artist/writer and his interest and use of typography throughout his career.

*Letterpress experience is helpful though not required*
