What Good Will Really Is: A Holiday Performance!

Come see and hear the Aesthetic Realism Theatre Company’s thrilling dramatic and musical production of “What Good Will Really Is!”

The event will take place at the Aesthetic Realism Foundation, 141 Greene Street, off West Houston Street, NYC 10012. Reservations are recommended. Call 212.777.4490.

Featured will be an excerpt from Eli Siegel’s stirring lecture “There Are Power & Christmas,” about Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, with scenes from the novel.   There will be holiday songs, including “Little Drummer Boy,” as well as the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.  Presented dramatically too will be Myra Kelly’s moving short story of 1904, “A Christmas Present for a Lady.”

In “There Are Power & Christmas,” Eli Siegel, poet, critic, and founder of Aesthetic Realism, said:

We’re celebrating Yuletide by talking about power, the thing that every person wants to have and use rightly….I’ve said that being able to have authentic good will is the greatest power in the world.  Being able to show something like good will is as easy as falling off an ego log.  But having it really, being able to be kind, is the highest power.  A Christmas Carol has ever so many aspects of power in it. It has to do with the meaning of good will.”

This landmark event has what America and every person are so much looking for!
