World Science Festival: Anthropologist’s Apprentice

Every fossil has a story—and NYU anthropologist Shara Bailey knows how to tell it. Unearth the history behind fossils recently discovered in Ethiopia using clues to determine their age and identity. Amateur anthropologists will even have the opportunity to step up to a state-of-the-art scanning device to create a 3D model of the bones, stitching them together to make a complete model.
