Concerts & Performances: An Evening with Kevin Beasley

Kevin Beasley’s commission by the Guggenheim’s Young Collectors Council on the occasion of Storylines: Contemporary Art at the Guggenheim, Strange Fruit (Pair 1) (2015) incorporates the sounds of the museum into sculptures made from sneakers, foam, resin and other materials. For this performance, he uses the sounds recorded by these objects to build environmental and experimental compositions.
