Through an examination of style icons such as Brigitte Bardot and Françoise Hardy, the 1966 Jean-Luc Godard lm Masculin Féminin, and Elle magazine, Hill will show how the overlap between music, film, and media helped to shape the dynamic fashion industry during this era.
