Fashion Talks: threeASFOUR’s Gabi Asfour in Conversation with Kim Jenkins

From a recent collaboration with indie fashion muse Charlotte Kemp Muhl to adorning innovative musical powerhouses the likes of Björk and Lady Gaga, Kim Jenkins, Visiting Assistant Professor of Fashion, will explore the creative process and body of work created by Gabriel (Gabi) Asfour, co-founding designer of the avant-garde label threeASFOUR. Asfour’s metal “FEST” dresses, produced in collaboration with and on loan from the private collection of Bruce Gitlin, Pratt’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, will be on display in the Fashion department gallery. This talk is the final installment in the “Fashion Talks: Exploring Fashion and Culture with Kim Jenkins” series. This event is free and open to the public; reception to follow.
