Lecture and Q&A With Internationally Acclaimed Theater Artist ROBERT LEPAGE
Marymount Manhattan College (MMC), a private liberal arts college on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, is pleased to welcome internationally celebrated and multi-talented artist Robert Lepage on Wednesday October 22 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Lepage will deliver the 2014 Jack and Lewis Rudin Distinguished Visiting Scholars Lecture, “Creating Outside the Frame.”
Recently described as a “genius director and playwright” by the Toronto Star, Lepage has won acclaim in virtually every art form he has ventured into – ranging from theater, film, acting, to producing daring large-scale rock shows and events with Peter Gabriel. He has also created opera for global audiences, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
Mr. Lepage’s highly anticipated appearance will be warmly welcomed by MMC – a college known for its thriving performing arts program – and by fans from across the NYC area.
