Tutu: Then and Now A Photo Exhibit

Images spanning nearly three decades portray South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s leadership throughout the apartheid movement and his more recent justice work, as captured by photojournalists Sumaya Hisham and Eric Miller.  The exhibit at St. Paul’s Chapel, part of the parish of Trinity Church Wall Street, is cosponsored by the Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation.

Trinity Church Wall Street often partnered with Tutu in the 1980s in the fight against racial segregation in his country and was active in the divestment movement.  Tutu spoke at St. Paul’s Chapel in 2005 and at Trinity Church in 2006.
