Uptown Showdown Comedy Debate: Vampires vs Zombies

Bloodsuckers and flesheaters battle it out in the next installment of the wacky comedy debate series. Hip hop artist Jean Grae, Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show), Dan Soder (Guy Code), Sean Donnelly (Last Comic Standing), Mike Drucker (writer for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon) and Irish comedian Maeve Higgins tackle the question of which monster is more bad-ass at this special New York Super Week edition of the popular series. Hosted by Matthew Love.

You never know what to expect at this bi-monthly, wacky debate series that brings together two teams of comedians, writers and performers to face-off on a chosen topic, such as which pet is superior cats or dogs and is it better to be comfortable or fashionable?

Debaters will argue these lingering questions, drawing from historical fact and personal opinion in equal measure, and with plenty of sillinesss and audience participation. Forget about school reform and healthcare, these issues, heatedly argued by some of the funniest, smartest, intensely wacky creative thinkers around, are the topics that keep us awake at night….in a good way. Winner decided by the audience.
