New York City lecture halls will be alive with the sound of music in the next few months, as speakers underscore their discussions with song and dance demonstrations.

June 7. The public radio show This American Life stages several mini-musicals and stories, including one by Broadway composer Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights). Brooklyn Academy of Music, 7:30 p.m.
