These programs include a mini-tour of 97 Orchard, followed by an intimate conversation with scholars with expertise on the program topic. The purchase of a ticket is required.

Probe deeper into the fabric of 97 Orchard with Andrew Dolkart, the museum’s first architecture consultant and current director of Columbia’s historic preservation program, and museum paper conservator Reba Snyder. Dolkart gives insight on the significance of the museum’s unearthed findings and Snyder shares her work analyzing the building’s many layers of wallpaper—deciphering their colors, patterns and trends. A mini-tour of our preserved spaces, followed by a conversation with Dolkart and Snyder, allow you to see the Tenement as you’ve never seen it before.
