Judy Blumesday – Kids!

In celebration of Judy Blume‘s 80th birthday, we pay tribute to this beloved author with a day full of events for fans of all ages. Starting at 3 PM, kids 8 and up are invited to an afternoon of readings by actors and a discussion with Blume book illustrator Debbie Ridpath Ohi and contemporary authors Soman Chainani (The School for Good and Evil series), Rachel Vail (Well, That Was Awkward), and Jacqueline Woodson (Brown Girl Dreaming). With a rare appearance by Judy Blume herself!

There will not be a book signing at this event.

Ages 8-12

The Thalia Kids’ Book Club offers lively discussions between children’s book authors and their fans. Each event includes a creative writing project, and a discussion with the audience.

Book sales provided by Bank Street Bookstore, there will not be a book signing.
