Making Art, Making Meaning in Fifteenth-Century Flanders is a workshop organized in conjunction with the exhibition The Charterhouse of Bruges: Jan van Eyck, Petrus Christus, and Jan Vos at the Frick Collection. The workshop will examine the making and meaning of art in fifteenth-century Flanders, with the aim of considering the context of Jan van Eyck’s Virgin and Child with St. Barbara, St. Elizabeth, and Jan Vos.
