Ash Carter is the Director of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. At Harvard Kennedy School, he leads the Technology and Public Purpose project and serves as the Belfer Professor of Technology and Global Affairs. He is also an Innovation Fellow and member of the Corporation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Andrea Mitchell served as news director of student radio station WXPN before moving to NBC News in 1978 as a general correspondent based in Washington. She has appeared on Meet the Press and Hardball, as a panelist and substitute host, and served as a chief congressional correspondent from 1988 to 1992. In 2004, was honored with the Leonard Zeidenberg Award for her contribution to the protection of First Amendment Freedoms and she now anchors Andrea Mitchell Reports on MSNBC.
