Polish historian and former dissident Adam Michnik discusses the political realities in Europe and the world – including the rise of right-wing populism. Michnik is a historian, intellectual, author of many books and editor-in-chief of the largest daily newspaper in Poland. Best-selling author Kati Marton has combined a career as a writer with human rights advocacy. Marton is currently a director and formerly chair of the Committee to Protect Journalists. She also serves on the board of directors of the International Rescue Committee and the New America Foundation, a public policy think tank. Yascha Mounk is a Lecturer on Government at Harvard University and a Senior Fellow at New America.
