Art Answers the Questions of Our Lives!

ART ANSWERS THE QUESTIONS OF OUR LIVES!

Thursday, April 7, 6:30 PM, at the Aesthetic Realism, there will be a Public Seminar, “Art Answers the Questions of Our Lives!”

Learn about art & yourself at this exciting event! The speakers–a painter, an architect, and a sculptor, all Terrain Gallery coordinators–show the thrilling practicality of art for people’s lives today.

Eli Siegel, critic, poet, and founder of Aesthetic Realism, described it in this landmark principle:

“All beauty is a making one of opposites, and the making one of opposites is what we are going after in ourselves.”

MARCIA RACKOW, Painter, Aesthetic Realism consultant, teacher of the Visual Arts & the Opposites class, will speak on on ALEXANDER CALDER’s “Snowflakes.”

DALE LAURIN, Architect, Aesthetic Realism consultant, speaker in the Architecture & You series, will talk on FILIPPO BRUNELLESCHI’s great “Duomo.”

DONITA ELLISON, Sculptor, lecturer on the Aesthetic Realism Teaching Method, will speak on DUANE HANSON’s “Tourists.”
