Artist Event: Byron Kim, Irving Sandler and Robert Storr

Panelists include Brooklyn-based painter Byron Kim, Irving Sandler, critic and art historian, and Robert Storr, writer and critic.

Byron Kim’s works have been represented in major public collections throughout the U.S., including the Brooklyn Museum in NY, National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and the Walker Art Center in Minnesota. He has earned various honors and awards, including from the Joan Mitchell Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts and the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation. He is represented by Jame Cohan Gallery, NY and PKM Gallery, Seoul.Irving Sandler is a professor emeritus at SUNY in Purchase, NY and is a critic for ARTnews, Art Internatioal and Art Forum. Robert Storr was a former senior curator at MoMA, NY, a professor of modern art at the Institute of Fine Art at New York University, and is currently the dean at Yale University School of Art. He contributes to Art in AmericaParkett, Frieze, and has authored several titles on Louis Bourgeois, Chuck Close, Philip Guston, and others.All evening lectures are free and open to the public.
